Hi guys,
To make it short, I needed VK9w on 80/30/12/10m....I thought to myself that this would be difficult to get through, and that was !!!!!!
I spent oneweek before the 1st QSO, which was on 12m CW Saturday morning. Wide split (on all bands, all the week), but lucky enough to get through.
I then sadly missed 10m opening this week-end. Opening lasted 15min here, with a S7 peak signal yesterday. When not hearing short skip to understand where he was taking guys, that requires to call on "blind frequencies". That will be for the next one :-)
Yesterday evening, they made their last 30m session....Signal was weaker than the otherdays, but pile-up was more concentrated into a 8KHz bandwidth (still !). Took me about 45min before being logged.
All in all, I'm quite happy to have made 2 new bands (and new mode with CW), but quite sad to have missed them on 10m. I'll certainly have to wait for the next solar cycle to have a chance.
73 to all the team, thans for being there !
